Earn it, or Win it! Which Would You Choose?

Would you rather earn or win $1M?

I asked a friend this recently.

I think the answer is obvious.

If you can earn a million dollars, you can earn two.

If someone takes your million dollars, you can earn it back.

Yes. It would be harder to earn it, but so much more worthwhile.

All the failure, and lessons you would learn as you go through it.

But then it’s YOURS.

Some of my clients want me to give them success, and help them find their identity, without doing the work.

I try to do this.

I give them the exact formula to follow, just the same as it worked for me.

But they don’t follow it.

They second guess themselves and want it to be easier in their search to get back to being who they want to be.

I tell them that it’s hard for good reason.

It’s hard so they can overcome the hard, and be different on the other side.

If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, and if we go back to the start of my email, and original question, everyone would have a million dollars, but would they keep it?

In life, you will need to re-discover, and reshape your identity several times, it’s just the way life is.

The challenge is knowing what you need to do to get yourself back, this is the hardest part. And that’s the part I teach.

This email isn’t about getting the money, or being given all the answers to find yourself again.

It’s about who you get to become in the earning of it, either money, or earning, re-discovering and owning your identity.

Earning your successes in life, and achieving your goals, is one of the best feelings I have ever felt.
